چکیده
This paper will validate two basic concepts of numerical models for prediction pressure change along the transport pipeline in case long distance and high capacity lignite ash pneumatic conveying. Application various friction factor correlations variation given parameter, led to total fourteen different program codes FORTRAN. The input data are based on comprehensive experimental research Kolubara fly conveying system within 620 MWe thermal power plant unit under operating conditions. Numerical simulation results validated against subjected statistical analysis methods. functional dependence obtained by least squares method was evaluated using mean squared deviation correlation ratio. predicted changes show best agreement, with measured decrease amplitudes pipelines, model momentum balance air-ash mixture flow cor-relation Dogin Lebedev parameter A = 1.4?10-6. achieved ratio 93.99% Pipeline 1 91.33% 2, as well 9.58% 13.66% 2. Also, fanning values fully consistent previously examined cases available literature. can be used drop specified pipeline.

Numerical Simulation of Dense Phase Pneumatic Conveying in Long-Distance Pipe
Computational Fluid Dynamics is now a new ramification of the numerical discretization method based on high-performance electronic computers, which focuses on fluid mechanics simulation. Fluid mechanics has two main braches that one is theoretical analysis and another is experimental research. Therefore, theoretical and experimental fluid mechanics were created as most important constituents in...
متن کاملNumerical Study of Single Phase/Two-Phase Models for Nanofluid Forced Convection and Pressure Drop in a Turbulence Pipe Flow
In this paper, the problem of turbulent forced convection flow of water- alumina nanofluid in a uniformly heated pipe has been thoroughly investigated. In numerical study, single and two-phase models have been used. In single-phase modeling of nanofluid, thermal and flow properties of nanofluid have been considered to be dependent on temperature and volume fraction. Effects of volume fraction a...
متن کاملInvestigation and Evaluation of Rolling Resistance Prediction Models for Pneumatic Tires of Agricultural Vehicles
Wheel numeric and different versions of mobility numbers are important models for predicting the rolling resistance. In this study, data related to the rolling resistance of cross ply and radial ply tires were compared with the resultant values from several models. Also, the preciseness of models in rolling resistance prediction was evaluated. For this purpose F test and 1-1 line method (p≥ 0.0...
